These terms apply to work quoted for and carried out by Thistle Property Care Ltd. By accepting a quote or allowing us to start work, you agree to these terms.

Quotes and estimates

All prices are confirmed in writing after a survey. A quote is valid for 30 days. Prices shown on this website, including advertised bathroom packages, are guides and the final price is confirmed on survey. Where unexpected work is found once the job has started (for example concealed pipework or structural issues), we will always agree any additional cost with you before proceeding.

Bookings and cancellations

If you need to cancel or rearrange a booked job, please give us as much notice as possible. Deposits, where taken, secure materials and your slot in our schedule; they are non-refundable for cancellations within 7 days of the start date unless we can recover the costs from our suppliers.

Carrying out the work

We aim to complete work on the dates agreed, but timescales can change due to material availability or unforeseen conditions in your property. We will always keep you informed. Where your property must be left between stages of a job, we will leave it safe and tidy.

Payment

Payment is due on completion unless agreed otherwise in writing. For larger projects we may agree staged payments. We accept bank transfer and card payments.

Guarantees and liability

All workmanship is guaranteed for 3 months from completion. Manufacturer guarantees also apply to fitted materials and appliances. Our liability is limited to the value of the work carried out, except where the law does not allow this limitation.
